Branded for sale as RepairMaster, the product is part of Tarmac’s renowned ‘Masters In Asphalt’ range. Tarmac’s RoadMaster, another product incorporating Emcol’s binder technology, has received certification from the British Board of Agrément (BBA) under the Highways Authority Product Approval Scheme (HAPAS). RoadMaster has been approved under HAPAS as a cold-lay material for the permanent reinstatement of roads, footways, footpaths and cycle tracks

Shinreki is the largest producer of Emcol IRR in the world. The company is well known in Japan for its range of aqueous bitumen emulsions used in road surfacing. They also manufacture coloured bitumen emulsions for use in cycle tracks, footpaths and all-weather tennis courts.

Shinreki became a licensee in 1989, initially manufacturing Emcol IRR at their production plant in Kumagaya. Since then the company has expanded rapidly, supplying the whole of Japan from its six production plants and network of sales agents. This is due to the remarkable efforts of Shinreki and demonstrates the market potential for Emcol IRR internationally.

SC Z&Z Piro is our licensee in Romania. Piro is a family run business with vast experience in the quarrying industry. The company began manufacturing in 1998 having seen the profitable link between their quarrying activities and Emcol IRR.

Since then SC Z&Z Piro has gone from strength to strength winning a number of high-profile tenders to supply several regions in Romania. The company has recently expanded and refurbished its manufacturing facilities to increase production and satisfy a growing market for Emcol IRR.
